Verifiers

Create or improve ads, copy, website designs and market strategy from context and optional content.

Verifiers are not available to every company yet. Access is enabled by environment during rollout.

Choose a verifier and provide the goals and references it should work from. The working agent creates or improves the deliverables, checks its work against its rubrics and returns finished output with guidance for your next agent.

VerifierOutput
Finished creative assets and guidance saved to the company Library, with preview and download links
Improved text with guidance on how to use it
Library ZIP containing improved frames, implementation files and guidance selected from your brief
Market strategy covering the ICP, audience and approach to building the business

Website runs use public URLs or screenshots. They do not require source code, a repository or a custom domain, and the output is design guidance rather than a working customer application. Ads runs create assets; they do not launch campaigns.

Account and inputs

Verifiers is available in staging during rollout. Production access stays off until enabled for that environment. Sign in to the verifier dashboard to create your account and mint an API key. Onboarding creates a minimal company named for you automatically, without the normal Cofounder business-onboarding flow. Fund its prepaid balance before starting paid work. Runs charge actual usage plus 20%; onboarding does not create a subscription or enable auto-recharge.

context is a required list of typed items. content is an optional list with the same item types. Omit content, use null or send an empty list to create from context. Provide content when you want existing work improved.

Completed upload

Pictures and URLs can supply context without a text item. The agent derives its deliverables from your inputs; specify the audience, scope and required formats when they matter.

For a local file, call POST /uploads to create a company-private upload slot. PUT the raw bytes to its upload_url with the declared content type, then call POST /uploads/{asset_id}/complete. Only completed uploads can be referenced in a run. Ads and website ZIPs remain in private company storage; anyone holding a signed preview or download link can access that file until the link expires.

Submit and follow a run

All paths below are under /cofounder-cli/v1. Authenticate with your API key in the Authorization: Bearer <key> header. Omit company selection to use your verifier company, or pass company_id for a company you currently administer.

For example, send this body to POST /verify/copy:

{
  "context": [{"type":"text","text":"Write a concise launch announcement for a rehearsal studio booking app. Address independent studio owners."}],
  "content": [{"type":"text","text":"Our innovative next-generation solution seamlessly transforms the booking experience."}],
  "idempotency_key": "11111111-1111-4111-8111-111111111111"
}

Creation returns a run with id, status, progress_percent, cost and output. Poll GET /runs/{run_id}. Public progress is a percentage based on completed required rubric rules, not a stream of the agent's activity or internal judgments. It can decrease if an output changes and needs another check. A completed run provides its output; a failed or cancelled run does not establish that the requested work finished.

Ads and website runs return type: "library", guidance_markdown and saved items with library_file_id, sha256, download_url and expires_at. Ads also provide preview_url for inline viewing. Website runs provide one ZIP containing every final deliverable and the guidance, without publishing a site. Read the run again to obtain fresh links; URLs expire after one hour. Completion retries reuse the saved files. Run links retain the inspected output version, even if someone later edits or moves its Library entry.

Final ads support PNG, JPEG, WebP and GIF images; MP4, WebM and QuickTime video; and plain text or Markdown guidance and source handoffs. SVG and HTML visuals must be exported to a supported rendered format before completion.

Text outputs include text items and guidance_markdown. Use that guidance to help the next agent build or integrate the result. Internal verification findings and rule verdicts are not public results.

Reuse the same idempotency key only for identical retries. After changing inputs, use a new key. If a request outcome is uncertain, reconcile that request before submitting it again.

Cancel with POST /runs/{run_id}/cancel. This stops new work and requests cancellation of active work. Already incurred usage can settle afterward: cost.charged_usd includes settled charges, pending_estimate_usd is an estimate when available, and cost.final tells you whether settlement is done. A cancelled run can still incur charges for work already performed.

Operations

The Founder MCP endpoint and generated cofounder verifiers CLI commands use the same operations. For command flags, run the selected command with --help. Neither client needs separate stage bundles or a client-side verification workflow.
