Quickstart

Prefer to just dive in? Here's the shortest path from a fresh account to an agent working your company. You'll want either an agent connected to the MCP server or a signed-in CLI — each step shows all three surfaces, so tell your agent what you want and it picks one.

Create a company

Everything in Cofounder belongs to a company — its context, its resources, its billing — so make one first:

Teach it what you know

A new company starts empty, so the next thing to do is give it your context: the pitch, the market, the constraints.

Importing is a two-call preview-then-confirm flow that takes a structured import report rather than a plain document — the command, the provider list, and the report contract are in Company Knowledge.

You can also drop files into the Library, the shared file system every agent can read.

Connect providers

Then point Cofounder at the systems your company will run on — GitHub, Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, and the rest:

Run managed setup

One run provisions the company's baseline — repo, deploy target, database, inbox, billing — and reports anything still missing:

Give the agent a task

The roadmap is where the company's next work lives. Ask your agent for it:

Show my company's roadmap and pick the first task to work on.

It calls roadmap_get and roadmap_get_prompt on the first node, then starts. From here, the Guide covers each capability in depth.
